La Estacion - Waukesha

We finally discovered a place that serves amazing Mexican dishes. I ordered the Gordita, which wasn't even on the menu, and it was fantastic! I finished every last bite, including the perfectly seasoned rice and beans. Our server was professional and attentive, making the experience even better. The prices were quite reasonable, totaling under $40, which is impressive for such quality. This restaurant is definitely a must-visit if you're craving excellent Mexican food. Plus, you can enjoy your meal in a converted railcar. Overall, it was a great experience, and I can't wait to return!

The food, drinks, and service here are all outstanding. We've visited many other Mexican restaurants in the area, and this one truly stands out. We love sitting on the terrace when the weather is nice. We are loyal customers of JAHRE and will keep coming back. La Estacion is simply the best! As for the criticism about the Palomas being small and not tasty, they're actually served in a pint glass—what more could you ask for?

I had a great meal, and it was definitely worth the wait. The wait time wasn’t too long, but I was prepared for it. The staff speaks both English and Spanish. I expected the menu to be in Spanish, but the descriptions were provided in English. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

La Estacion is a hidden gem. The restaurant is located in an old railway station (the name La Estacion), is huge and even offers seating in an old train car. I don't know anyone who has no kick of it. The food is good. An extensive menu, including some traditional Mexican dishes and to-die for desserts. And last but not least are the Margaritas!

Awesome local restaurant with phenomenal food and amazing service! I went earlier in the day (before noon). Amazing art throughout the restaurant and very clean!
