Sunset Grill Pewaukee - Waukesha

This is our favorite restaurant in Lake Country, and it's disappointing to hear that it will be closing.

We were really looking forward to trying Edgewater! We made a reservation and arrived early. The bartender who served us at the high-top table mixed a wonderful old fashioned. However, the corn fritters seemed to be reheated and were presented almost burnt and barely warm. My jambalaya was clearly also reheated, just lukewarm, and the rice was still cold! My friend's pork medallion was genuinely laughable—it was just one small, lone medallion. With so many great dining options available, we can't recommend Edgewater aside from the old fashioned. Let’s be honest, we live in Wisconsin, and plenty of bars serve excellent old fashions. Overall, it’s not worth your hard-earned money!

We absolutely love Edgewater! The blood orange old fashioneds are fantastic, and the food is equally delectable. I haven't encountered a single dish that I didn't enjoy. The view of Pewaukee Lake is simply unbeatable. While they are a bit understaffed at the moment, which has impacted their usual high level of service, the staff remains positive and makes every effort to ensure you have a great experience.
