Chatterbox - Wausau

My partner and I are not locals, but we stumbled upon the Chatterbox Bar and decided to have dinner there. As soon as we walked in, we felt a friendly and cozy atmosphere. The menu offers soups, sandwiches, appetizers, and other delicious options. We decided to start with loaded tater tots and fried cheese curds, both of which were excellent. The cheese curds had a light coating that wasn't too heavy or greasy, but just crispy enough to add a crunchy texture. For our main courses, we both ordered fish dishes, as it was Friday in Wisconsin. My partner got the traditional fish fry with sweet potato French fries, and I chose the fried fish sandwich. Both meals were fantastic, and we left with satisfied stomachs. The staff was very kind and helpful. We felt fortunate to have stumbled upon this hidden gem and will definitely return.

Awesome stop. On a **** mary run to see how places do. Place is a bit far to come back but the breakfast special was great and the service was awesome. If I am ever in the area, I'll be sure to stop in! Thanks guys!
