Trails End Lodge - Wausau

The owners and staff are incredibly lovely. The bartender is especially friendly as well. It’s a wonderful place with excellent fish fry!

The food and atmosphere are fantastic, at least for my taste. However, the drinks are a bit pricey. I don’t typically go for just good food anymore. Offering a daily drink or food special could be a great idea. If the drink prices were a bit lower, I would have stayed longer and ordered another one. It's a bit odd, but I’d much prefer having two drinks for $8 than just one for $5.

You have the best Friday fish fry in Wausau and the surrounding area. A few years ago, they had the most delicious potato salad we had ever tasted. Unfortunately, now it seems to be overwhelmed by mustard, making it unappetizing. The coleslaw also has mustard in it, which spoils the flavor. Please bring back your old potato salad recipe!

One of the best fish fillets in Wausau! The chowder is very good. Great breakfast also on weekends.

Good food. Good staff. Good prices. Come by boat or by car. Outdoor seating. Fun place to have a few
