I don't write bad reviews, but that was a bad assessment. ordered a large cod that was wounded with oil and driped until the oil ran on everything else. chips weren't all that great and the sausages my daughter had gone to end. to go to the müll because they were burned. we had also ordered 2 curry sauces we never received. I and my young daughters had already gone into this chip shop and she had experienced the young girls who help us to be rather rude to another customer. at this point we knew we didn't come back. tonight I thought I would give them the advantage of the doubt, but never again. such a drop of £30 including £3 for curry sauce we never had. the only reason this evaluation is to get a star is because I need to write the review. I would recommend going to beccles fish and chip bar on smallgate. unless it is Sunday, then they simply get a superfry and save their fish and chip speeds for when a decent fish and chip shop is opened.

Had fish and chips here today Friday 6. august. I had a big cod, it was a decent size, teig was very crispy, too hard really and the fish was completely dried in the inner, the teig, and was chewy, it looked beautiful, but in the did. was indelible. it was skinless, which doesn't help if I knew I didn't order it. such a shame, I couldn't take it back because we were gone from the opposite. the service was very good and efficient, it was well packed and the chips were good. but a waste of money because we couldn't eat the fish, such a shame

Fantastic fish and chips! battered sausages from the local metzger also delicious! the chips are cooked in a traditional way with taste. the opportunity to add crispy scraped to the fish and chips, also a really nice note. order over the website that...was fast and easy! and great kovid management at place and place with markers where they stand outside and summers to tell them their food ready. friendly service!

Nice fish and chips if you like it cooked in Duck fat and Beef dripping, like all the Chip shops in Beccles.
