Rusty Rooster - Waverly

We recently took a trip to waverly Tennesse to look for retirement property and we were told that we had to go to Sams Diner before we left back home to Florida. What a great place this is....everyone is like family there (they all know eachother), the waitresses were extremely friendly and you can feel the love of everyone in this tiny hole in the wall GEM! The food was great and the coffee was amazing !! My husband and I will continue to come back here evertime we return to Waverly. This is a must visit eatery especially since it was so highly rated of the locals...AND THEY KNOW!

I met a friend for lunch at this quaint diner. The place is non-descript in appearance but the service and the food was excellent. I had a medium rare mushroom Swiss burger and my friend had hers well done. They were both cooked perfectly and the onion rings were crispy and delightful!

Food was good. The coffee tasted burnt. Staff very friendly

Amazing breakfast with the locals. Grits, BLT or Philly Cheesesteak are all excellent choice for breakfast. Small town feel, big good flavor.

Walked here for coffee the waitress Angel was great. food smelt awesome coffee was good. small place but very friendly.
