El Mexicano Grill - Waxahachie

This was a typical local TexMex restaurant in small town TX. We say at the bar because the restaurant was quite busy. The food was pretty good and the portions were ample. The service was slow; although the bar tender was pretty attentive. I think thekitchen might have been backed up due to some large parties ahead of us. Fortunately, I was with good friends, so I didn't mind.All in all a fine experience. I took the rest of my chicken flautas home with me to enjoy later. Friends said the mixed fajitasand the enchiladas were good. Give it a whirl. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Ordered Steak with Cactus and Cactus was gross. Also ordered Carnitas Tacos and it wasn't even pork. It was shredded dry beef. Very disappointed. Service was really slow. Took over an hour to get served food.

Love this place and #2 uptown but Nallely makes the best drinks hands down! Keep it up! Y?all gotta teach #2 these ranch waters and Chimoy margaritas. I love the Camrones Enmomiados and The Cassandra they are usually my go to?s. The Cassandra isgreat for atleast 3 people or tons of left overs.

So tried this place out for the first time. Staff was friendly, food was good. they bring a cup of queso with the chips, love that. I will be back.

Very fast and friendly service. Food was yummy too. Our server always made sure we had everything we needed. Keep up the great work and great food. Oh great prices
