This is an old town that was established to accommodate workers involved in the construction of the dam for Tas Hydro. There are no stores, pubs, or fuel stations available.
There's not much else around for food options, but the food here was enjoyable. It's affordable and pretty decent. The service was friendly too. If you're looking for food, this is a good option!
Great little local pub! Prices were fantastic, food came quickly and was delicious. Locals were very friendly and happy to chat too!
