The Openroad Brewery - Wayland

The service was a bit slow, but it was clear that the restaurant is actively hiring. This is a positive sign.

My cousins and I traveled from the city to Michigan for a fun trip and were recommended to try this restaurant known for its craft drinks. However, when we arrived, the server gave us a hard time about our IDs, specifically one that was vertical. Despite being 23, 22, 26, and 34 years old, the server refused to sell alcohol to one of us because our IDs were from different states. We just wanted to have a good time but we felt unwelcome and disappointed by the service we received.

The restaurant was excellent. Although the service was a bit slow, we had to go to the bar to get drinks, but overall it was a good experience. The rolls from the neighboring place were fantastic. I do wish they had salad options as I avoid deep-fried food, but my companions enjoyed their meals.

Friendly staff and they make good beer. I like the chicken sandwiches they serve.
