Mcalister's Deli - Waynesboro

A cheese melted essentially a grilled cheese - over its website for picking up scarves.1) the sandwich was cold and cheese completely unmelted. they literally put only cold cheese in the broth, no attempt to “grill” the grilled cheese. They didn’t even like it microshaft so that the cheese melted. it was raw broth with cheese slices.2) we went in after 15 minutes, maybe thought to forget to put it in the shurb. others who came and ordered, take our food well before us. it took another 15 minutes to get our cold cheese sandwich.

Food was fair. Seemed like staff didn't want people to eat inside as there was no music on. It was very strange to have to listen to the staff chat in a silent restaurant. I have to agree with the comments that the meat serving on the sandwiches is skimpy. Could have been worse.

Best McAlisters be been in! The sweet tea is sweet but not Deep South sweet. Food is great! Friendly and attentive staff, clean restaurant/restrooms. I can’t say enough about this place. I’ll remember to stop here my next trip through in a couple weeks.

Went in today and ordered the largest Savanah salad ? I specifically told the waitress behind the counter “No igorganzol ? cheese twice! Well the waitress interrupted me/not listening asking me what “sides”. You don’t get sides with a salad Finally understands what I’m wanting to order. Again I tell waitress no cheese and she asks what I wanted to ? drink. Get the order at the table and it’s loaded with Gorgonzola cheese ?!!! You can’t tell me she didn’t hear me. I told my husband I won’t go back there ever again! You spend 10.00 bucks on a salad ? you should get what you want or not ion the salad . And also the floor had paper and food scattered about/messy

Placed an order today that said it would be ready at 5:20 called when I got here and the lady said okay and hung up. Called back 20 minutes later and the guy brought it right out. Cold and was missing my sons drink and his chips so I paid $6.09 for a uncrustable.
