At caribou to work in my past, should this caribou be a model for other caribous, how to use an appropriate espresso and treat her cartridges bouga? The moon. Thank you for great memories and I look forward to creating more in the future?

We love the location and relaxed vibe at this Caribou Coffee on the lakefront. However, the last several times we had been here have been concerning. Perhaps it is so jarring because we have just returned from living 8 years out of state and it didn?t used to be like this. The carpet in the great room and the floors are covered with grit. The leather armchairs are literally falling apart. One has a 8x3? tear in one arm, another wobbles alarmingly when sat in and is tilted forward on one side. The staff is friendly and warm, quick to respond. Perhaps they need reminding that good customer service includes keeping customer areas clean. While I trust Caribou?s attention to good food handling, it is tempting to wonder about kitchen hygiene when the customer environment seems so uncared-for.
I?m not a negative review kind of person, but was surprised by the experience I had. While there on 12/27/21, a child threw up all over the carpet and a bit on the table in the seating area. Strangely the father and child remained there, and he wiped up part of it himself with napkins. I immediately informed a staff member about the incident, not only to keep the area clean but also as it?s a Covid surge and some kids throw up early on. Nothing was done, and the staff member (given they had three staff there and not much line) didn?t even come into the other room to look at it. After another 20 minutes, when the dad and kid left, I informed a separate staff member who said she would come take care of it, and still none of the three staff members came to even observe the throw up. I as the customer had to personally stop customers from sitting there who were about to step in it or put there drink where it just was, well over 30 minutes since the incident. The staff not only didn?t even come look at it, but didn?t inform customers. Needless to say, I had patiently attempted to address the issue numerous times and was disappointed that I found myself having to assist customers regarding the issue while the three staff did nothing about it. In addition, seating area wasn?t very clean or attended to in the hour we were there. Giving it two stars because the product was fine and giving the benefit of the doubt that other people?s experience would be different during other shifts.
Very good place to stop after exercising, particularly on Sunday morning. Lovely location on Wayzata lake front.
