Eastern Pride - Wealden

I placed an online order at 5:30pm as soon as the restaurant opened, and then I called to request that the Pasanda dish be made mild for our young daughter. The Chef on the phone was very pleasant. I received an email with the estimated delivery time and the food arrived right on schedule and was piping hot. We were extremely satisfied, as we have tried food from various delivery places since moving to this area in 2016 and have been disappointed with almost every order. I can honestly say that we believe we have found the best restaurant in town: Eastern Pride. The king prawn vindaloo was the tastiest I have had in years, with fragrant spices and perfectly cooked prawns. My naan had a slight char that enhanced its flavor, and the Chicken Madras was fresh and fragrant with perfectly cooked chicken. The chicken Pasanda was made exactly as requested, mild and beautifully done. I couldn't find any faults with the side dishes we ordered either. We are thrilled to have finally found a place where we can look forward to ordering a delicious meal from in the future. Hooray!

My family tried Eastern Pride for the first time tonight. When we picked up our order, the man working there was very friendly and mentioned he had been at the restaurant for over 30 years, which was impressive. We ordered a delicious chicken tikka masala that was rich and creamy, with tender, well-marinated chicken that practically melted in your mouth. The biryani was full of chicken and not too greasy, topped with plenty of fried onions for a beautiful presentation. The mint sauce was fresh and refreshing, and the pilau rice had a nice texture. The onion bhajis were large and crispy. Overall, we really enjoyed Eastern Pride's food and highly recommend it.

Absolutely frustrated as I 've ordered online for a delivery tonight and received an email saying I ordered for collection! This was not the case, I called a left a voicemail as apparently it was order online only and said I would not be able to collect and this would not be the case. They called back told me I had put 'collect ', and they DID NOT have a driver for delivery anyway! So angry...as the online 'delivery ' service does not mention no delivery and still gave the choice of delivery and they made out i had not done that! Not happy, cancelled!!!

This was a fantastic experience super food, a great value menu option and the service was friendly and swift. Really loved that they brought us a drink with our bill don't often get that kind of service in this country!

Brilliant. Ordered for a birthday gathering. Easy online ordering and loyalty scheme. Food was on time, hot and delicious. I have found some indian dishes all taste the same with other takeaways these did not. Has to be the best in town definitely recommend .
