Damson - Weatherfield

After deciding that Marco's Italian wasn't for us (poor service before we'd even sat down) we managed to get a table at Damson.

I came here a couple of years ago for lunch when it first opened, and for some unknown reason it has taken this long for me to return.

TL;DR - Posh nosh, great service.__We came here for Sparky's birthday after having read nice things and deciding that the birthday boy needed a nice treat.

Based right in the middle of Media City, the restaurant couldn't be in a trendier setting. I hadn't had a chance to check out the development since the BBC moved in but the entire project has been a triumph. Walking to the restaurant took me back to when we lived in London. The whole area made me feel as if there should have been a tube stop somewhere near and had that lively 24 hour atmosphere you get down in the capital.

Media City has been far too long without a good restaurant; it now has a great one in Damson. This is the one she’s waited for. One love.
