Let me start by saying the servers are always friendly and you can tell they 're working hard. They deserve better from the owner. I 've heard from more than one previous employee that they had to leave due to low hours and low pay. The food has gone downhill and sadly the owner is clearly nickel-and-diming wherever he can to the point it 's just too overpriced for what you get. And if you order to go, get ready for an up charge as they charge you for the cheap plasticware whether you ask for it or not. Your order can easily be double the price it lists with how much they overcharge for things they don 't tell you about. Our latest experience: A to-go order of eggs benedict. $10.99. We got a little extra tomatoes and extra hollandaise (I say little because we got very little). The to-go order ended up being $22 BEFORE tip which included a $2 to-go fee which was explained to me as because of the plasticware. Which I should add is too cheap to even use because they 're so flimsy. This is why great local places go under eventually. Greed. Totally unacceptable and sad to see from a once-great restaurant that I 've gone to my whole life.
This place just has a really good breakfast. Pancakes are great. Sausage is cooked right. Eggs come out like you want them. When you say extra crispy hash browns they come out extra crispy.. Kid friendliness: Lots of kids there
Great Diner..was served delicious breakfast..big servings..nice staff..very fair prices. Give it a try
Great old fashioned diner located on Route 66. Food was delicious, portion size was excellent, service was really good even though they were busy at the time. If you are traveling through Weatherford on Route 66 be sure and add this stop to your list.
