If you enjoy adult beverages, this is a fantastic drink suitable for any occasion, especially brunch. It's a shot of Jameson topped with Butterscotch Schnapps, accompanied by a chaser of orange juice and a slice of bacon. I can only imagine that this drink would be served at Heaven’s bar! One minor downside: if you’re not from the Weatherford area, I recommend bringing your own bottled water or beverage. The staff is aware of the issue and even admitted, “tastes kind of funky?” when we requested a replacement for our tea. The water unfortunately tastes like stagnant pond water, and this unpleasant flavor comes through in the sodas as well. But don’t let this deter you; it’s a common issue at many restaurants in Weatherford, and you wouldn't want to miss out on such a great experience! The dining area is very inviting, featuring large garage-style doors that give an “outdoor” feel while you’re still indoors. There’s also a completely indoor dining area. Be sure to check out the small car museum at the back of the restaurant, as well as the one located across the street to the west. They’re free to visit, but a small donation is appreciated. Overall, everyone was incredibly friendly, making for a wonderful dining experience.
The location and collection are stunning. The staff is very friendly. Don't forget to contribute to the donation box. Be sure to grab lunch next door at Shep's.
I was pleasantly surprised by the food, which featured a modern and contemporary menu. The service was exceptional, and the background music was fantastic, ranging from Journey to Van Halen. The cars on display were stunning and definitely justified the hour-long drive from Grapevine. The Black Mustang is a must-see; as the sign suggests, you won't find another one like it. Getting to enjoy a perfectly cooked piece of chicken while listening to Guns N' Roses and admiring a 1966 powder blue Fastback in one place truly deserves six stars!
This is a lovely small museum with a modest selection of cars, including some that are historically significant. If you plan to visit the LBJ Ranch in the Hill Country, you'll definitely appreciate one of the vehicles on display here.
This is a fantastic museum, especially for those who appreciate vintage cars and history. It's located in a charming old town, adding to the appeal. It's a wonderful experience for the whole family, and best of all, it's free! Don't forget to show your support with donations to help keep it open for as long as possible.
