I've eaten here a few times, I really want this place to work out, we don't have much in the area. The first time I got their cheese burger and onion strings. The burger patties were very low quality, almost hocey pucks. The onion strings have the weirdest batter, almost like the same batter used on chicken fried steak. It's not a good mix. It was very disappointing because you can't get onion strings many places and normally they r my fave. Another time I got a breakfast sandwich, instead of a sausage patty, it was sausage link's split in half and it was on a weird muffin, not a regular English muffin, I can't explain it but it is absolutely disgusting and had to be thrown away. Very disappointing.

We discovered Exit Ate on a family vacation trip and are very glad we stopped! We really enjoyed this family restaurant. The owners were friendly and kind, and the food was simply delicious all homemade! and the facility was very clean. Will most definitely stop again if we have the chance! (The pastrami sandwich was delicious and plentiful, and the fries were handcut ...so YUM! Service: Dine in
