Glass Onion - Weaverville

We love dining at Glass Onion! The food is always so very delicious, the service is excellent and the decor is lovely. I especially enjoy the trout entree and my husband's favorite is the house made fettuccini . Every dish we've had there has been wonderful.

I ordered the pear soup and it was closer to a consistency of apple sauce. The flavor was fine. The fish special was cooked perfectly yet overly salted. The service was tremendous. Overall I felt the value was not quite worth the price but the time with friends was invaluable.

Glass Onion is always a win whether it's for a celebration or dinner with friends. (But then again, aren't friends always a reason to celebrate? . The food is always spectacular, service is wonderful and the ambiance is delightful. One of our very favorite places to eat and experience.

The food was excellent. We both had the pear and beet salad. Best we've ever had! Our pasta should have been served with a large spoon is our only complaint. The garlic bread is out of this world. Our waiter was very patient with us and extremely courteous. Can't wait to go back again!!

Bland mains. Incomprehensibly bad ‘house margarita’ that tasted like pure lemon orange juice. Was served rancid olives and the waitress tried to tell me I just don’t like olives. I love olives, don’t gaslight me bro. Orange cake tasted like orange extract. This is strictly a wine and garlic roll spot, beyond that you’ll have a better experience for your dollar getting fast food.
