The Cafe At Indian Creek - Weaverville

ICL is a wonderful place to relax, enjoy the Trinity river and be close to beautiful recreation. The beds, bedding and pillows are superb. Will definitely go back again!! Stayed in one of the rooms with a kitchen, great patio with BBQ.

Stayed for a night a month ago with my husband and our dog in a dog friendly room as its our half way point when driving to the coast, .the .room was small for the price but clean, loved the beautiful lawn leading up to the river behind the lodge which was the highlight. Last night we tried to book a room for the 3 of us again on our way home but no dog rooms were available, the front desk gal Olivia was super sweet and remembered us from last month because of our big fluffy malamute Shepard mix. She recommended us for nearby alternative lodging and I asked if it was OK for us to stop by in the morning to sit along the river and have morning coffee with our dog..She said that should be fine seeing how we were recent past guests and just tried to book a room. Well when we arrived be were approached by a very unfriendly women who said we cannot be on their property because we are not registered guests, ..I told her we had asked ahead and were past guests that tried to book a room last night and she very rudely just said no and we shouldn't of been told that. Mind you it was Sunday morning, no cars in front of the rooms as guests must of checked out. No kindness or recommendation of where we could go, treated us like we were some vagrants or druggies looking to hang out behind their hotel along the river with our dog. We had planned to book a week this summer and take our grand kids there...NOT ANYMORE....you just lost our future business as we travel to the coast often..

What a wonderful place to stay. Everything is good with the lodge. Clean, safe, nice staff, the magnificent view….and not expensive. What else? Did I mentioned how beautiful the place? The best lodge I have ever stayed.

What a find! We love it when we stumble across such an unexpected gem of a place. Friendly and helpful staff. Spotless, spacious, well-appointed room with a beautifully renovated bathroom. The grounds along the river were beautiful and included a firepit, large picnic area, lots of room for games, The pool was perfect for cooling off from the 100 degree heat of the day. It was close to Weaverville for great eats. The ductless AC systems are very quiet when most motels have noisy through wall units. Only warning is cell service and internet was spotty. But, this may be a good thing when on vacation.

If you are looking for a quaint little place to get away, fish, read by the pool or just relax this is it! Indian Creek Lodge is absolutely darling, it's located right on the trinity river where you can walk out the back door of your room across the lawn and cast your line in. We've been coming here for several years and really enjoy it. Everything is very clean, with lots of attention paid to detail. Comfy beds and bedding, fluffy towels, cozy and cute rooms. Some rooms have kitchenettes fully stocked with silverware, dishes, pots and pans; even bbqs on the back patio so you can bring your own food to grill. There's a big firepit to sit around in the evening and roast marshmallows or enjoy a drink. The managers are amazing and so accommodating, and are right on site to help with anything you might need. It's truly a wonderful place to visit! We can't wait to come back!
