I ordered food from this restaurant yesterday for my husband's birthday. They kindly wrote "Happy Birthday" on the container, just as I requested, which truly made his day. The portions were quite generous, and the food was flavorful and well-seasoned. He couldn't finish it all in one sitting! The price for the Colombian platter was also very reasonable. I highly recommend this place—10/10!

This restaurant closes at 7:30 PM, with the last orders taken at 7 PM, which seems a bit early for dinner. The staff is friendly but has a limited understanding of English. Unfortunately, the pork belly was dry and tough, lacking flavor, and I struggled to bite through the skin. On a positive note, the steak and bean soup were quite enjoyable.

I’ve always enjoyed the food from this restaurant, but I have to address a troubling experience. The older woman who works there seems to treat Black customers differently; each time I’ve visited, she has ignored me while serving others. Today, I ordered patacón relleno de pollo but was served beef instead. When I pointed it out and asked for chicken, they just scraped off the beef and added chicken on top rather than making a new dish. To top it off, I discovered blue mold on my cheese. When I returned to address the issue, the woman made rude comments about me in Spanish and refused to talk to me. The cook even came out and accused me of lying, claiming it was cilantro instead. I usually spend at least $50 here, but after this experience, I won’t be coming back. The blatant racism and poor customer service are unacceptable. It seems they assume Black customers wouldn’t recognize what cilantro looks like.

The food at this restaurant is wonderful and has a comforting, homemade feel. The Patacon Relleno is outstanding and very satisfying. I usually opt for takeout, and the meals are consistently fresh. Although the prices are a bit on the higher side, this is typical for many other eateries as well. Plus, it's one of the few Colombian restaurants in the area.
