While the ambiance and decor of the restaurant were not so much, but the wait time for the food was unacceptably long. Was asked to wait 30 minutes for the order to be ready. (While no other customers at the restaurant) To make matters worse, when I spoke to the manager about the delay, he was incredibly rude and had an extremely unpleasant attitude. Instead of apologizing for the delay or offering any explanation, he dismissed my concerns and made it clear that he didn't care about our experience. Overall, I would not recommend this place due to the excessively long wait times and the terrible attitude of the manager. It's a shame, because the restaurant has a lot of potential, but the poor service and manager’s attitude completely ruined my experience.
Food is good. No doubt. Just be careful because they “change policies” as they fancy. They automatically add tips and say it’s as per their “new policy” when the policy is not mentioned anywhere before you order.
Tried the fish meal today. It was very tasty and freshly made. Will do visit again.
We are familiar with Goan food and were excited to try this restaurant and were so very disappointed. We were practically the only patrons in the restaurant and yet the food was served well over an hour after we ordered. The wait would have been palatable if only the food was palatable too but it was less than mediocre. We ordered potato chops, fish cutlets, bombil fry, kingfish rechado, mackerel rechado, fish curry, chicken xacuti. None were remarkable. The drinks (sol kadi u0026 kokum sherbet) were absolutely horrendous.
The fish curry rice was excellent. The bombil fry was one of the best we had in Canada
