If there's one downside to the view, it's that the docks could use some repair; they seem to be in disrepair. The atmosphere is tranquil, with most customers engaged in quiet conversation. But we didn't come just for the view; we were there to eat! My friend and I were enticed by the delicious smell of the grill, which made our mouths water. However, the prices were a bit steep for what we wanted to spend on a quick Monday evening meal. Don’t let that discourage you, though. While I can’t speak to every dish, the aroma was fantastic! We both ordered the chicken breast sandwich, and I must say it's one of the best—if not the best—chicken breast sandwiches in the city. The marinade was excellent, and the chef grilled it to perfection. The roll was fresh and soft, just as it should be, and the salad was crisp and well-prepared. I even took a moment to go to the kitchen and compliment the chef on his sandwiches. The fries were amazing, especially if you enjoy them crispy like I do! I have a hunch they use Lamb Weston potatoes for those who are serious about their food. Overall, this is a great spot for a quiet but not too lonely escape by the beautiful shore.
The restaurant boasts a stunning waterside location and offers generous portions of delicious food, particularly famous for their onion rings and shell dishes. Unfortunately, a corner of their deck is submerged due to flooding from Lake Ontario, but this should improve as the lake level decreases. When we visited yesterday, it was quite busy, with a wait for outdoor seating, but no wait for tables inside.
It looks like this summer might be your last chance to enjoy a meal and a drink at this establishment by the water at the northern end of Irondequoit Bay, as they are set to close for the winter. If you happen to catch some live music, why not treat yourself to a pint and some delicious barbecue? I really loved their Bayside Burger. The double bacon cheeseburger had a wonderful texture and was perfectly seasoned. The soft baguette-style bun was a lovely surprise. I'm eager to visit this hidden gem in West Webster before it disappears. The fish fry here is also an excellent choice for Fridays. Just a heads up: this restaurant only accepts cash.
As always, fabulous! The best tasting ribs and chicken ever. The ribs fall from the bone, unlike Sticky Lips or Dinosaur. The chicken was tender and juicy, the live band was rockin', and the landscape was fantastic. I love the Bayside Pub.
Total gem of an old school dockside restaurant. They really don’t make them like this anymore and from what I understand there’s a high probability this one is going to vanish as well. People in the community should really rally behind this establishment!
