It's a dive bar so, you get what you get. The staff was incredibly nice , and it did have that cozy dive bar feel. The food took about 40 minutes to come out 2 burgers there were maybe 10 people there and no one else eating so it seemed like a long time.My bf was kind of upset to find out a draught IPA beer was $7 a glass.A small burger meal for two people ended up being $50 , which is a lot by any standard really. The real insult was the generic ketchup. Just give us some Heinz.Did get a very nice message from the owner, pictured.Edit: owner thinks I got paid for this review I do not ...but I wish I didEdit 2: there were literally 6 people in the entire place , only 2 people eating, so it's not like the bartender was overwhelmed with crowds of people, FYIThe owner complained to Google and had my review hidden.????
I wanted Thousand Island Dressing and they made it for me from scratch!
I thought this PUB was still the same place I had experienced several years ago. Back then, extensive and tasty bar menu, house made potato chips (best I ever had). I'm sad to say this pub now IS NOT that. The food now is very poor. When you are told that menu items are not available because basic ingredients are not available you recognize you have made a bad choice of eateries. The wait service was excellent... can't blame the waitress so I don't want to throw shade on her. But the restaurant needs so much improvement on so many levels I cannot recommend it, in good conscience.
I hadn't been there since pre-COVID so I called beforehand. You used to be able to add a patty to a burger for $1. The female answering the phone it's now $2. I went in, ordered a beer and ordered my doubleburger. After a few minutes I was informed the extra patty was now $4. I mentioned I called before coming and was told $2. It didn't matter. I cancelled the food, paid for the beer with a $1 tip and will never be back. #winning
