Ambience (old GDR equipment, blurred christmas stars and spider webs on the lamp) absolutely does not match the star prices. Food was served after 1 1/2 hour on dirty plates, there was no children's dish. My son, as an alternative, was presented with a tough and greasy chop with massive onions at an undamaged price. The other dishes were ok to good, but very profane. No special extra. That's what the waiter, who made all his effort, couldn't pull out. But in the end he did not ask if it tasted us...
Chris Krause is a very good cook. It is valued on quality, craftsmanship and freshness. The ambience is bright and friendly, the service super. We like to come back.
The restaurant Laubenhöhe is highly recommended to find something hidden but good with Navi. Great advice on food selection and matching wines, courtesy service, delicious freshly prepared and seasonal dishes, even the boss does not hesitate to contact the guests. We like to come back.
With very friendly and pleasant service we speissed third in the very beautifully green courtyard area of the Laubenhöhe. Although it took a very long time to come to our ordered dishes, this is justified with fresh kitchen. The ordered Ochsensteak was like ordered medium-rare and also all other dishes were excellent! The cook/inhaber personally asked about the food if you were satisfied. We will be happy to come back because this restaurant is one of the few lighthouses next to the usual sausage meats and Soljanka-Buden in this beautiful corner of Saxony.
Perfect food, super wines we always like to come from Prague to a culinary experience.
