The deep-fried doughy balls were cooked well, although a bit tough on the outside. They may require a steak knife to cut through. However, if you prefer a lighter, crisper batter, you may be disappointed. The portions are generous and prices reasonable. Orders are ready quickly, and the service is friendly. The food quality is average for a small town Chinese restaurant. The vegetable spring rolls were crispy and flavorful, the almond chicken was pleasant, and the chicken fried rice was tasty. However, the vegetable fried rice had a burnt flavor. Overall, the meal was just okay, similar to a previous takeout experience a couple of years ago. It's uncertain if another visit will be made in the future. Three stars.
I don't know what magic they put in their chicken fried rice, but it is by far the best in town. Other recommendations: The Honey Garlic wings and Beef and Broccoli. Definitely a take out location the inside is very dated
The restaurant has become more expensive compared to its competitors. I rate the Won Ton Soup very poorly. It feels like they are just going through the motions, waiting for the end. Once a popular spot in Welland, the Bamboo is now just another low-quality, overpriced Chinese restaurant. I do not recommend it.
Best Chinese food in Welland, Needs a renovation, it has not changed in years but their food is to die for!!
One of the only takeout meals we didn't finish. Heard it used to be good. My wife and I couldn't finish the meal. Very disapointing.
