Zing Indo Grill - Wellingborough

I came here with friends to have a lovely meal to celebrate something special. I 've got a coriander allergy and I couldn 't stress enough that I couldn 't have fresh coriander sprinkled over my food. When I got my starter it was full of coriander. I promptly sent this back. When the waitress brought my food back to me it had been picked off and not re-cooked. I carried on to look at my food and there was hairs all over the food. The waitress turned around and said 'what do you want me to do about it? ' I wasn 't best pleased. I didn 't pay for my meal as I complained to the manager and he gave me my whole order for free, of course I didn 't eat barely any of my main because I was too busy looking for coriander and hairs in my meal. Never will return. Poor service, shoddy food.

Had a table for two early last night (6.30pm on Valentines Day 2019) and the overall experience was excellent! Complimentary drink on arrival, delicious food served piping hot and quickly, and all of the wait staff were very extremely polite, helpful, and friendly. Great choice of subtle background music, and the water features are a great addition to the whole ambience. Would definitely recommend!

Order came promptly, completely wrogn though. Patia hotter that Phal and Jalfrezi was tikka masala. Worse food i have ever eaten. AVOID

The last time we were here was when it was Voujon, but we weren’t disappointed. The staff were attentive and the food delicious, sadly we were the only diners meaning it lacked atmosphere which was a shame. Worth a try.
