Feedback gevenWhen the other staff member returned from break, I was relieved to see some movement in line, but it was frustrating to wait for so long. While I don’t run my own business and understand the challenges of operating in a competitive environment, I feel that they could benefit from having three staff members during peak hours. This way, there could be two people handling food and one person managing the counter, allowing for better service. Perhaps they could adjust staffing levels to have three people during busier times, like midday to six, and reduce it to two during quieter periods. This is just my opinion; I want to stress that I'm not complaining about the hardworking staff.
The lunch was excellent, and I appreciated the good social distancing and hygiene practices in place. However, it was unfortunate that many restaurants were unable to process debit or credit cards at midday due to their machines being down. I noticed at least ten people leave or turn around at the door because of this.
I used to think this place was the best hidden gem around. Unfortunately, it stopped offering its signature subs on October 10, 2020. Tina and her coworker were incredibly friendly and truly exceptional at what they do. It was clear they took pride in their customer service. Tina even referred to herself as a "sandwich artist," and I have to agree with her. Their subs were fantastic!
I had a fantastic experience with my takeout brunch! The food was incredible, earning a perfect score of 5 out of 5. The service was just as impressive, also rated 5 out of 5. The atmosphere was inviting and added to the enjoyment of the meal. I highly recommend trying the Meatball Marinara, Black Forest Ham, and the Oven-Roasted Turkey for the kids—each dish was delicious! Overall, an excellent dining choice that won't break the bank!
This restaurant is declining quickly. For takeout, the service was poor, and I would rate the food a 2 out of 5, the service a 1, and the atmosphere a 1. The price per person was around $10–20.
