Lemon Plaice - Welwyn Hatfield

This place is so welcoming with delicious food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a sit down meal and chose the half fish and chips and there was plenty of food! Really tasty, especially the Irish curry sauce. We were served quickly too and enjoyed nice chats with the staff. Will definitely visit here again.

I was working in the area and about to drive back north and happened upon this fish and chip shop. I had a small fish and chips with mushy peas and my word it was outstanding. Every mouthful was heaven! Freshly cooked to order and in veggie friendly fat too. I wish this was on my doorstep. Nice staff too.

Still the best fish and chip shop/restaurant in Hertfordshire. We had a takeaway tonight. High quality food and trust me we know our food. Thanks for the fine dining.

Moved to area so first visit. It was very busy on a Tuesday night but worth the wait light crispy batter and fabulous chips. The Irish curry source was lovely. You may well have to wait but as the sign says this is not fast food it is quality food. Thoroughly recommend.
