La Tortuga Loca - Wenatchee

I couldn't resist going back to this restaurant again. Although it's not close to our place in Apple Country, it’s conveniently on our way home. We placed a large order, knowing we’d savor it during our 2.5-hour drive back. The location can be a bit tricky to find. Now, I should clarify: you're not at Hermanos' Tortas, my friend. While their prices are slightly higher than what you might expect, the portions are enormous. Let me put it this way: you'd crawl over broken glass after a night out in Slovenia just to have this food. The street tacos and enchiladas we ordered were fantastic as well, and the salsa roja had a delightful smoky kick—I’d pay just for a pint of that if I could. A very kind gentleman took great care of us during our visit. Unfortunately, the crazy turtle option is no longer for our family...

Fantastic sandwich! I had the Cuban Torta, and it was incredible.

Last Post 2/28/22: I spent 36 hours in the area and discovered this restaurant through Yelp. I absolutely love it! It reminded me of Mexico. I'm planning to visit the Mexican restaurant in Wenatchee next.

Super yummy tacos .. that is what I had .. the place also offers other types of Mexican food .. It is small and cozy and has outdoor seating as well as .. the host is warm and friendly ..

Amazing tacos tried the Al pastor, aztec, carnitas, and carne asada with the spicy salsa. Nachos were great as well with freshly made chips. Will be back!
