Chimi's Fresh-mex - Wentzville

Great authentic Mexican food,complemented by great service and speedy service during lunch. Highly recommend too those whom authentic Mexican food.

We tried this place twice. The first time we thought ok maybe it was just a bad day, so we came back tonight. The service was horrible. Fernando was our server and he cared more about the people at the bar than he did his own tables he was serving. We sat for over 10 minutes before we were greeted and had our order taken. When we got our food we were never asked how it was not got refills the whole meal. This included the table next to us but he sure did check up on the group at the bar who apparently had a birthday to where they cracked eggs on the guys head! At this point we simply waited till he finally came back to put table and we just asked for boxes to go and our check. That took another good 20 minutes cause he made a few more stop at the bar. We watched him interact with a few of his tables through out the night but between us and a few more others he completely left us alone and I'm sure you will get the same complaints. He even shook hands with those tables he interacted with!!! Now us not a chance!!! Needless to say there was no tip. And I doubt we will be back. We tried twice and both times the service was horrible.

Great place to eat came in on a Saturday. Around 8pm the google listing is wrong they close at 9:30pm on weekdays got the enchiladas verdes.

Regular Mexican restaurant with average food. Nothing spectacular unless you like paying up front with someone who doesn't understand English and can't communicate. I couldn't even get my receipt! I got ignored while she continued helping other people. If you can't communicate with your customers, then you shouldn't be at that position. This was not the individual's fault, rather the manager who chose her to do the job. In my opinion, El Agave had much better food, better atmosphere, and better staff. Go the extra 6 mins down the parkway and enjoy.

Amazing! As always. The food is always fresh, hot, and comes out quickly. And the staff is always friendly and very attentive. This is our go to place for awesome, authentic Mexican food. We highly recommend trying them out by purchasing their Groupon offer. It can only be used during the dinner hours, but it applies to your food and/or their delicious margaritas as well.
