You can feel the passion and the commitment of the owner, his family and kitchen staff. We spend there wonderful and long ;) evening with lovely food. Carpaccio, vitello tonnato, minestrone soup, sirlion, veal in lemon sauce, sorbet limone (I had two!) - everything was fresh and delicious. Very good wine selection, also good home wine. The owner, his wife and daughter personally took care of each client. You may notice they have mostly regular guests, but they care about everyone. Although on Sunday evening the restaurant was full of guests and reserved tables, they found very nice table for us.Good value for money.I highly recommend!
The place is easy to reach by car. They have an own parking place. The place is quite large without being impersonal. The decoration is typical Italian. I like the picture of Al Capone. The menu is big. All sorts of dishes. The bruschetta as a starter is on the house, but the tomatoes on it were much too cold. I had a meat platter with four different sort of meat. It was OK. The people are nice.
Nice italian food, a slightly different italian menu which makes that restaurant adorable. Good atmosphere inside and in summer nice spot to sit outside
Fine Secolo is the most popular Italian restaurant by locals in this area. With friends or families you go to Michele and eat some of the wonderful dishes on offer. Very friendly service, authentic atmosphere and always crowded. So don t forget to make a reservation!
For the second year in a row I came back to this restaurant in the Essen area. The owner is Italian. He likes fish so he always suggest the dish of the day based on fish. The pasta is good and the fish is fresh. You can have pizza too.The service is fast. The restaurant is really busy during the wekend. I suggest to book in advance.
