The food here is excellent, and the atmosphere is inviting. The service is outstanding as well. While it is slightly more expensive than your typical casual sushi restaurant, the quality justifies the price. Overall, it’s a fantastic experience. Food rating: 5/5.

The specialty sushi rolls at this restaurant are absolute masterpieces! Each bite exceeds the previous one in flavor. I found it difficult to choose a favorite since everything I sampled was exceptional! As someone who follows a gluten-free diet, I appreciated that they have clearly labeled dishes and offer gluten-free soy sauce upon request.

The food is fantastic, second time coming and Umu has not disappointed. We will be back!

Always a nice and relaxing food experience at Umu! Excellent sushi, Japanese and Thai food. Been here many times. Unlike the loud and noisy restaurants in Wesley Chapel, Umu is the opposite. If you’re looking for a great place to enjoy a nice intimate meal, or even a family looking for a great meal, this is the place to go.

Stumbled upon this place in a strip mall. Nice ambiance inside. Sushi, etc. prepared right out front. Seemed to be doing a brisk takeout business. I ordered the tempora eggplant, and it was fresh and delicious! Hubby had noodle dish Pad Kee Mao, and he enjoyed it. This will be on our list to return.
