U Need A Bagel - West Babylon

The bagels, rolls, eggs, and bacon are fresh and absolutely delicious! The staff is fantastic and treats us like family. I really love this place! Give it a try—you won’t regret it!

This place looks fantastic; everything has been revamped. I find the bagels to be absolutely delicious. We enjoy ordering a sausage, egg, and cheese on all of their bagels. The sausage patty is perfectly spiced and doesn’t have the odd taste that some other patties do. Our order also includes a choice of hot or iced coffee or tea, which we really appreciate. We love it here. Thank you!

**Follow-up Review (2 Weeks Later):** We visited in the morning when the bagels hadn’t yet been put on display. To streamline the process, we listed all the types we wanted upfront to avoid multiple trips to the back. The staff member prepared our bagels, and we clarified that we wanted butter and spreads. Unfortunately, she quickly assumed that a native New Yorker like myself didn’t know how things worked in New York. She aggressively sliced, spread, and packed our order. While U-Need-A Bagels serves solid bagels, this disappointing experience will keep us from visiting in person for a while. Now, we opt to order through delivery platforms, where we can get them at a cheaper price. Imagine a typical, thick bagel, but fluffier and lighter, so you don't feel overly stuffed after the first or even the tenth one. U-Need-A Bagel has some great offerings, particularly their cream cheeses. The Everything Bagel is perfect, the Cinnamon Walnut Raisin cream cheese is just sweet enough, and the Sesame Bagel is wonderfully toasted from start to finish. However, there’s room for improvement in presentation and pastry selection, though these are just minor points against the fresh fare available all morning and afternoon.
