Good choice menu. Reasonably priced. Poor light at tsble to read menus. 1 of ourparty had to send back her steak which also had lots of grizzle. ChEap and Reasonably cheerful!

Visited here once before for drinks in the summer which was lovely and tonight for a quick fly by dinner greeted by Debbie. The service was exceptionally good, food tasted fresh and hot considering how busy it had been throughout the day. (Southern fried chicken burger, buy one get one free Friday) You can tell the quality is nice as a lot of people were eating different items. Will definatly visit again to work through the menu and recommend.

Me and my family (5 of us had a table booked for 7pm. We arrived early and attempted to park in an EV parking spot- these were taken by 3 non EV cars, when questioned at the bar this was ignored! 1 car was a member of staff! Never mind- annoying but not the worst thing! We placed our food order around 7:10/7:15. We were told the wait may be around 30 mins for food as they were busy- not a problem. 4 of our meals came out at 8:30 and the last meal (a child’s came 10 minutes after this. Food was awful!!! Husbands burger bun was so hard with black burn marks we had to request another. Gammon from another meal was dry and hard, chips cold for 3 of the meals but plates were piping hot- meaning it had been sat under a heater for a while! Steak was undercooked and hard to chew, chicken was like warm rubber. (I promise we are not THAT family! And can always overlook little defects! However!! No one even half finished their meal which was a huge disappointment and very unlike us! I asked if we could please have replacements but this was met with a firm ‘no! We’re busy!’ Kids were so upset and still hungry we ordered a pudding to try and salvage the meal- These took 20 mins to come out!! Such a shame to have had a rare family evening meal out to be ruined by long waits and poor food!

Went to We Waif for brunch , very surprised, large menu , very reasonable prices . We all ordered different items , and very soon items appeared . I had the all English brunch , outstanding , all item freshly cooked very nice , plus chips on the side with chick in wings , very good the others had the mushrooms very tastier, and rgevother had the lasagne, nice a fresh , salad on the side , with cheese chips. For a cheap eats restaurant I could not fault any thing , ps asked for a week latta, and was brought out extra hot milk if it was to strong . Very nice experience, we be back soon 5 star

5 very different appetites well catered for. Michaela looked after our table very efficiently as always and with a lovely smile
