The Plough On The Green

Attended a Country Music night yesterday. The singer , Mark A Wright, was fantastic. Sarah and her great team made the whole night a great experience. Looking forward to visiting again very soon.

Ordered a pint and a glass of wine. Returned the wine because the glass was dirty. Barmaid tipped the wine from the dirty glass into a different glass! (She tried to conceal that). The second glass was also dirty!!

We celebrated our engagement at the Plough on the Green, we had such a lovely evening. The bar staff and management team are friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had a buffet and the food was amazing, there was so much choice and variety, great value for money. Thank you for a wonderful evening

Visited this pub when they had live music in the garden which was high quality entertainment and wonderfully friendly staff and customers made the whole experience enjoyable. Another visit with a group of friends and we had more excellent food and table service in a secluded corner of the pub

I was looking for a lunch spot for a Friday while visiting Newbury and was recommended this place by a friend who lives locally. Sarah hosted me and was so kind and helpful. The beer was fabulous and the lunch was ... WOW! Great service, great beer, great food...what more do you need. Certainly returning when next in town.
