Valle D'oro - West Berkshire

I came here with my Spanish class, as the lovely owners are from Spain. They were so kind, helping us practice the language and making suggestions. More to the point(! the food and wine was incredible Really great portions and lots of choice too. 100% going back ASAP!

Friendly, family run restaurant. Authentic Italian dishes with a focus on pasta and secondi. Always a good selection of desserts, and the side dishes of vegetables and potatoes are simple food, done very well. Portions are definitely generous.

We had the Sunday lunch menu. There was a really good range of dishes and the portions were huge the starters were main course sized. The food was excellent. The front of house lady was a real delight.

As some have said...go hungry. Lovely food, you can tell they care about what they send out of the kitchen.... wonderful owner/host. Definitely recommend if you want home made generously portioned food. Desserts are great too... with an good old dessert trolley!
