Empanada Mama's - West Cape May

The empanadas are amazing piping hot and delish! I tried a few veggies and my daughter enjoyed the chicken and cheese, as well as the Nutella and strawberry. As a vegetarian, I got empanadas for the first time because most places have only meat. My mom thought her court was fine, but the Nabeby really enjoyed his stuffed Poblano.

My wife and I usually dine at our favorite spots in Cape May, but we decided to opt for a more casual dinner after discovering Empanada Mamas online. It turned out to be a fantastic choice! I was particularly drawn to the pulled pork plate and was thrilled with my decision to order it. The combination of flavors from the pork, beans, plantains, and rice was exceptional—one of the best meals I've had in a long time, especially considering it was only a fraction of the price compared to most restaurants in Cape May. We also sampled six different empanadas, which was a great way to try a variety of flavors in one order. At three for $5, it was a steal! The standout flavors were the pork and provolone empanada, as well as the strawberry and nuts, which exceeded my expectations.

Great variety of Empanadas. The empanadas are about the size of a repulsion, so you can get several and try a lot of the great flavors they offer. There is also a foosball table to keep the kids busy while you wait!

The food was excellent. So many different options savory and sweet, veggie and meat. From white beans and veal to pineapples and Guava. Also the people working there were very nice and welcoming. Would go again!

A hidden gem in Cape May! We stumbled across this tiny, charming restaurant while out at West End Garage (it's just down the nearest cross street) and had a bite- UNBELIEVABLY DELICIOUS! I had the bean kale and spiced chicken empanadas- melt in your mouth pastry cover, and perfectly spiced fillings. My husband had the cole slaw, which was larger-cut pieces of red cabbage, cabbage, carrots, etc., in a lime cilantro dressing. We were in town for just a short time, but I'd go back just to eat here again. You rock, Empanada Mama's!!
