East Bay Deli West Columbia

Something seems to have changed at the Cayce East Bay Deli. There appears to be a new staff, as it took us 30 minutes to receive our to-go order. The Veggie Crisp sandwich was mushy, the fruit salad tasted spoiled, and the pickle wedge was soggy. Additionally, we noticed employees eating with bare hands while preparing food, which raises concerns about adherence to DHEC guidelines. This is disappointing because we have always enjoyed this East Bay Deli.

Exceptional customer service! I visit this place frequently for their grilled chicken Caesar salad, which is the best I've discovered in the area. I'm also a big fan of their egg salad sandwich.

I absolutely love the food and atmosphere here! The service is quick, and there's a large parking lot that's very accessible for those with disabilities. I highly recommend this place for both lunch and dinner.

I have experienced diarrhea within hours of eating at East Bay Deli 04-28-23. Apparently they are not clean there and the food has bacteria.

Within walking distance of our hotel, my husband and I walked over to get him dinner. He decided on the Charleston Philly. There were lots of choices on menu. He was pleased with it. But, said he had had better before. It was also on the small side for him and he would have preferred being able to only purchase the sandwich without having to purchase the chips with. Overall, we would pick up something there again if we were staying in the hotels nearby.
