Far East Joint - West Covina

Today (1.7.23) I have to say I was disappointed. Love the food love to eat here, great people, however they dropped the ball. We waiting 50 minutes. It's normal to have a bit of a wait for some good food but this was out of the ordinary. We checked to see what was the hold up. Turned out our tickets fell and we were forgotten. Please double check on your customers that still have a number at their table. Thank you.

The way the made the teriyaki chicken was out of a bag that I seen the chef pulled out and it was already precooked. The chicken has a funny smell and for the cost I thought it would be made fresh. The chicken wasn’t even hot when it touched my mouth it was warm almost cold. The burrito was okay but not the best, and the fries were pretty good. I would not recommend this spot in my opinion because the food was moderate. Maybe the wings taste better but didn’t get to try them. I’ll give them 3 stars and I think I’m being very generous after trying the food.

I just want to share my experience... Excellent Customer Service!!! I did not buy food, I just needed to actually use the restroom late at night and instead of telling me no, they were kind enough to let me in. They looked tired and for them to let me in was superb in customer service. Thank you.

Joint burrito korean beef with fried rice and sauce) is bomb and big! Garlic fries it not hot enough Staff very friendly!

We got the Joint tacos and asada nachos for $21 and all 3 of us regretted eating here. We called stating that one of us has a severe gluten allergy, and were told that the wings are breaded. But then we added the nachos and the employee must not know what gluten is because she didn’t mention that the nachos were covered in store-bought nacho cheese sauce (gluten) and came with flour tortillas (gluten). The asada was good. Joint tacos: liked the take on Korean tacos, spicy and sweet, but they were incredibly greasy (pictured). I know a greasy taco sounds good, but this was too much. The nachos and tacos just made you feel greasy after. The nachos are not worth more than $3, trust me.
