Thumbling - West Covina

First time trying this place, it was busy for a Tuesday evening. I came with a party of 5 and was placed 2nd in line, but took about one hour for them to accommodate a table for 5. Food was really good and a wide selection also. If you dine in, you'll need a smart phone(everyone has one? to order food. One thing that did not sit well with me is automatic gratuity for 5 or more, but with no service. I had to eventually grab the pitcher of water to refill our water. One of those places that thinks gratuity is given and not earned.

Good food but the best but good. Xiao long bao is a little watery. Pan friend bun is too doughy with smaller pork filling. Menu choices are amazing. Service is friendly and efficient. Worth coming if in the area! There’s always a line up but you can have bar seating .

We had dinner at the restaurant today, was forced to pay 18% tip on top and got charged without consent.I insisted to talk to your store manager, she was extremely rude and denied everything, said I paid the tip voluntarily. I hope this can reach the owner and stop this fraud behavior.BTW there is absolutely zero service. scan to order, napkins in the box on the tables... Absolutely no contact with any real person. They just throw food on the table by the far corner every single time.

I was craving dumplings and this spot was around the corner. It’s a solid spot for lunch.I ordered the pork and fried rice salt pepper squid, beef noodle soup and dumplings, followed with their milk tea. All were pretty good with the calamari being my favorite. Overall descent dining experience a great dumpling spot.I’d definitely come back here again and try their other menu spot. This place gets busy, it was already full by the time it opened.

Their pan fried buns matched with fried beef udon noodles was the perfect lunch.You scan their QR code at the door to join the waitlist. We didn’t wait too long, and once you’re seated you scan another QR code to order.The restaurant is bit crowded but they have more comfortable seating since they now have bench seating.
