Feedback gevenFood served and sold here is generally quite good for the money. That said, I've ordered a few times now using the take away service both ordered online and in store. On every occasion there have been items of food missing. On the second occasion I contacted morrisons using the online reporting tool. I basically received an email frommorrisons head office stating that it was nothing to do with them and to contact the cafe. All but too late as the food is taken home before any issues can be found. So my advice, as unorthodox as it sounds, is when the take away food order is received, is to pick it apart and make sure you've received what you have paid for.
Been a regular for years, almost a weekly visit, but since the takeover of Morrisons, an appreciable decline in service is clearly visible. From being told a few weeks ago, the meals would take thirty minutes, to having to wait nearly five minutes at the till today to place an order, never again. Three women were working in the cafe with dirty tables all around. A server should never go back to the kitchen empty handed. Could even hear someone sneezing badly in the kitchen. The problems here in Dumbarton, even extend to the Helensburgh store, where a cut back in personnel is having an effect on service and subsequent turnover.
Dear oh dear so many unhappy staff at the restaurant and at the self scanners... The 'have everthing generaton ' brain zapped by a lifetime of gaming and wishing after the Kardashians.... Zombies that hate doing anything and let you know it... No smile, arms folded, unhelpful and unpleasant...
Disappointed at the service received today. When I put my order in 3 times I told her the table number, which the food was then taken to the wrong table. That’s because she got it wrong and didn’t listen. But made out like it was my error, which it wasn’t. Then I asked them to fix the coffee machine, to which she did. However it still wasn’t working and what I needed still wasn’t available. So on asking again. I was abruptly informed I will get to it, not good customer service at all. Severely understaffed and the poor girls given too much to do. I was offered no alternative to my drink, and still throughout my whole visit they hadn’t addressed the issues with the coffee machine. No apology no thing. I was going to ask for a refund, but just took a tea instead. Morrisons need to sort their staffing issues out. And get both machines up and running, with someone responsible for this. Disappointed with our visit today, and it happens frequently.
Popped in on our way to Helensburgh. Both hand sanitizers empty .Wee ordered full breakfast and roll sausage and roll and bacon with 2 cappuccinos .Ordered and paid at machine Told after ordering 25 minute wait .Tables filthy my sweater sleeve got marked on dirty table .Tables with juice bottles and dishes weren't cleaned the whole time wee were there .No cutlery and no napkins .Asked for cutlery napkins .The young man gave us cutlery but no napkins .Went to get cappuccinos no milk in machine and so called clean cups absaloutley disgusting. Maybe if it was busy I wouldn't have minded so much .But was empty .Would advise everyone to steer clear .Been to loads of morrisons for breakfast abd never had such a bad experience Will definitely not be retuning. Visited on Sunday the 15th of August 2021 .
