Bleuroot - West Dundee

Bleuroot is very vegan friendly. the server will know all the options on the season menu and if it is not the cook available for confirmation. eating is really good, and they know its quality. many of the ingredients are produced locally by the farms near. both chefs/owners are really nice and come to their table to ask how they enjoy their meal.

Their options were quite limited. we had the flower-coal-drum that was much too spicy, imo. and they had a vegan burger and maybe two vegan noodles/paste options. and I thought it was all very overpriced. our server was very friendly and knowledgeable.

With my mother for her day. probably not back. my burger fell apart and her pasta part was not huge for the price. small cup suppe for 5$ each was the best part and two vegan desserts are offered there

We had a really great experience our waitress was even vegan! initially they have everything that can be labeled on the menu vegan. secondly, even if it is not marked, they can ask about it. for example, the 3 aromen of hummus that we had were not vegan on the menu, but we asked our waitress about it and they could make a swap to make the whole thing vegan, and it was really delicious hummus! the food was fresh. we had the cute burgers and sweet potatoes. friends were especially good and my favorite part of the meal was dessert! a cream/fruit filled chocolate cake! the vegan dessert options vary, but that is what they had the night we had gone so well! the desserts are made by a dame in elgin that makes allergy-friendly causes. I would definitely go back to try the other great vegan dishes on the menu, and I'm curious to see what the next season menu, as they switch the dinge twice in the year. the sections were also decent to be a bit of a fancier place.

I ordered the Veggie Burger with sweet potato fries. So fresh and delicious! Can't wait to come back, especially with Craft Coffee and Donuts down the street.
