Get the lamb. I had steak and lamb from The Dog Bar. The steak was great, but the lamb is from this world. You've never had so little lamb. Trust me.
The Dog Bar is a bit difficult to describe. I like thinking it as the old pair of shoes you'll never throw away. Sure, they've been a while. They have new shoes with more sparkles, flash... the latest style. But the favorite couple is so comfortable – they fit perfectly – they just make you feel good. The Dog Bar is quite a lot for ever, and I bet it hasn't changed much since the first day. The setting is warm not trendy, traditionally not stylish, adequately broken, but certainly not worn. Stunned? Maybe a bit, but that's Bedford Falls. If there's a chance you'll ever run in George and Mary Bailey, that's the place. Clarence... maybe. The building, which is currently known as The Dog Bar, has been on site since the early 1800s and has since served as a guest house, hotel, restaurant or tavern. The restaurant got its name as Ole and Dorothy Benson, owner at the time named it after the best friend of man. Current owners Linda and Ron Schenne
