Stopped in for a small pizza while waiting for a swim meet to end at West Hartford Aquatic center. Pizza was as I remembered, delicious. My family used to come here in the 80s growing up in West Hartford. I think the recipes haven 't changed. I will say the prices are a bit 'West Hartford ' but I 'm sure his rent is too...
The weird thing is, I don 't disagree with some of the negatives on here (I 'll specify which), but I still like this place. Greek style pizza is getting harder to find, but this place makes it and makes it well. We always order pizza and a Greek salad. The food is always ready when we get there. The pizza is always hot, and the salad comes loaded with feta and fresh vegetables. The biggest issue I 've had is with pricing. My order is often two or three dollars more than I 'm expecting. On the other hand, I once dropped a 5 in the tip jar and the guy working said 'hold on ' and took 5 off my total!! That tip didn 't do much good... I get that for some people that kind of thing is a deal-breaker. Maybe better you read this than give it a super negative review. For me, the same old guy is always working, making me think it 's a family business. It 's got a nostalgic old vibe to the interior. And it makes the kind of pizza I grew up eating and don 't find as much any more. On a Friday night when we 're craving pizza and a bit of nostalgia it does the trick.
Your pizza is delicious, probably the best I ever tasted. Each thing is nice and clean and always the latest ingredients.
That was by far the worst pizza I had lived in all my life. the personal was very nice, but the pizza was built on the worst teig you can imagine. owners of them? you listened? ve must change her crust, it has not even resemble pizza. do they use flour? what is going on back there? You can also rent your restaurant in a movie studio that filmes a post apocalyptic film. I want you better not hurt the business. Thanks for lunch, it was just good enough, so I didn't drink it out of my car.
