Savoy Pizzeria Craft - West Hartford

I had a fantastic evening at Savoy Pizzeria and Craft Bar with three friends. From the warm greeting at our arrival to the excellent service provided by our server, Collins, everything was top-notch. The pizza was the best I've had in a long time, and our server was incredibly attentive, ensuring we were enjoying our meal. Each of us ordered a different pizza, and we ended up taste-testing them all! The decor at Savoy was very inviting, creating a perfect atmosphere for casual dining. I'm thrilled to have Savoy on LaSalle Rd. I highly recommend it and can't wait to go back!

I love all of the 'Max' restaurants and recently learned they opened a more casual spot just two weeks ago. We visited last night, and I must say, the pizza was even better than Pepe's! The service was excellent, and the restaurant manager was actively engaging with us and other customers. Currently, they're open only from 4 PM onward, but they plan to adjust their hours as they get established. Our waitress was training a new staff member, and both of them were well-informed about the menu. We arrived at 4 PM, and believe it or not, within half an hour, the place was three-quarters full! We've already made plans to come back with friends. It's also a family-friendly venue.

I rarely write reviews for restaurants, but this place deserves special recognition. We enjoyed excellent salads; the Romaine wedge was a unique twist I hadn't encountered before, and the arugula salad was fantastic. The pizzas, particularly the vegetable and cauliflower options we chose, were perfectly sized for the three of us. The house pale ale, 'Brewtus Maximus,' was fresh and smooth—simply delicious. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, and maintained great service even as the restaurant became busier. The atmosphere is fun and inviting, and the decor has a wonderful look and feel.

Great pizza and small plates. My server, Darius, provided excellent service and was very knowledgeable about the menu. Will definitely return.

Went there for my birthday dinner and everything and everyone was wonderful. The owner and the staff were so accommodating considering the large size of our party. Everything was cooked to perfection and the drinks were delicious. Can't wait to go back!
