Newt's Catfish Seafood Steaks

My husband and I showed up shortly after they opened. We were seated promptly, but next to a cleaning station, when there were plenty of open seats located away from this eye sore. The young lady politely took us to a more suitable section, but after being seated, we couldn't get a server. There were 2 other parties in the area already eating. A server came back to check on them, but not once to our table. On her SECOND trip back to the other table, she locked eyes with my husband and came to ask what we wanted to drink with a less than enthusiastic tone, no smile, and a very flat affect. We gave her our drink order and... no drinks were brought to our table. She actually went to take orders from 2 other parties AS SOON AS THEY WERE SEATED! I know because I watched it take place. If an establishment has employees who don't care to serve me, then I will gladly take my money elsewhere. This was our first visit, and it will be our last. We did not feel welcomed nor appreciated for attempting to patronize a local business. Thanks for nothing, and please don't bother to respond with negative comments or taking up for the complete lack of customer service. I'm sure this isn't the first time. If you truly cared for all of your customers, the vibe would've been different. The God I serve is Father to ALL NOT JUST A PARTICULAR SKIN TONE. As soon as people learn and accept this, the world will be a better place.

Great food here. I ordered a special cuisine called gator tail platter which is really tasty and tail was awesome.

I was told about the restaurant by a friend and decided to invite a few people for a birthday dinner. The food was amazing, hot, fresh and delicious. The crawfish bites were delicious that’s on the appetizer menu and the seafood was very tasty. Great sides also. I was so pleased with my visit I went back a few weeks later and I got the fried fish over creamy cheese grits with the sauce. It was amazing. Couldn’t eat it all had to take the rest home. You will not be disappointed, but get there early.
