The buffalo and chicken parmesan wings, pork potstickers, patty melt on rye, and Guinness fish sandwich were all surprisingly delicious and satisfying. The drinks were well-crafted, and the new bartender offered excellent suggestions to customize our cocktails. We swapped out the sweet brand for a white rum in the Getaway, replaced vodka with gin in the cosmopolitan, and the Long Island Iced Tea was just as good as advertised. While the atmosphere isn't extravagant, it doesn’t need to be. It strikes the perfect balance, whether you're at the dimly lit bar or in the brighter dining area.
It has been quite an adventure finding actually decent food here. Lots of misses. I recommend the Chicken Quesadilla.
Very good prices for a hotel, reasonable breakfast menu good lunch menu Perhaps the best paddy melt I've ever had. There is also a full service restaurant in the hotel but due to COVID 19 they were not open on Sunday, soon to change I was informed. but Petals is good for breakfast and a reasonable priced lunch Highly recommended.
The website presents it as a somewhat upscale restaurant. It 's not. It 's a cafeteria with low lighting and nice seats. While sitting talking with a friend over a meal, the cleaning staff came over and turned up the volume on the enormous tv in the corner, making it impossible to continue carrying on our conversation. I would have understood if we had stayed close to closing at 1130pm. They did it at 5pm. Perhaps if you 're advertising a restaurant With soft lighting and a relaxing atmosphere , you might want to clue your staff in on what that means. You may also want to put the volume control of the tv into management hands.
This restaurant is located inside RIT Hotel and Convention Center. It shares the southeast corner of the property with Charades, their full service bar and restaurant. Had the Greek salad last night, the Caesar salad tonight, both with chicken. Generous portion for $8 and $7, respectively. Chicken was seasoned lightly, didn't overpower anything. Petals is a buffeteria style eatery, order at the counter/they bring you your food, condiments, drinks are self-serve. Decent food at a decent price,
