Really interesting location right off the highway and a confusing parking lot. You have an initial parking lot that has a really weird layout and then extra parking is in the waaaaaaaay back you have to drive up and over a hill into a barren lot that seems like it will be used for some future development. The inside of the restaurant is very homey and cool, though. Be ready to pay a pretty penny but you are getting some good food. I went with the ribeye shrimp combo, which tasted good. I got potatoes for a side, which I found to be good too. I don't think I'd come back, but you do get some pretty good food here. The steak was tasty, the shrimp was good, and the potatoes were good too.

I've heard good things about this steak house, my opinion it's OK. There was nothing special to even talk about. The steak I thought, was nowhere near as good as let's say Texas Roadhouse. There was a tuff piece of gristle along the edge. Also seemed that their grill was not hot enough, and the steak was undercooked. I like a Medium Rare steak maybe 135°, this was lucky to be 125°. So for the price, I would not be going back, better quality steak for less at other places. The parking suvks, make sure if you go you drop any handicapped people off at the door as the parking area is up on a steep hill. The environment was dark and warm. Needs some better airflow. At one time this was probably the place to go but just as everything else that used to be good they forget that it needs to move forward with the times not just lock into one style and keep it forever. Needs new seating, new decor, and HVAC, just looks to be a real old log cabin. Nobody wants to put money back into their businesses. Take a look have some dinner and make your own decision.
