Restaurant Esca @ Hotel Charles

The food and wine is of a vey high standard and so is the service. The menu need perhaps a few more choices. But overall, I can recommend the salmon dish which is prepared to perfection. The dining atmosphere is very relaxing. The staff interacts very well and seem to have a good teamwork. It sure was apleasure to be there.

We always love dining here when we stay in Launceston (Usually at the Charles Mantra).The quality of the local food is fabulous and the dining area is very relaxing.The only fault is there probably needs to be a few more choices of food on the menu.

Located within the Mantra Charles this is a gem of a place that should be a destination for those not staying in house.Great ambience continues after a genuine welcome. Water appears without being asked and the food and wine list is everything that is fresh and good. Wine list very moderate. The daily special of Ossa Bucca just Devine but perhaps could be enhanced with a veggie or two as a side.I did love the service - all the way through and wish others in the industry took notice of how this team works.Recommended!

Booked for dinner was quite good food and service , good for a in house restaurant and good value . Just needs more atmosphere bug overall good
