The Open Door - West Lindsey

Every now and then I happen upon on something special, and yesterday was such a day when we happened on this excellent coffee shop. We were at the halfway point on a 114 mile cycle ride and we’re ready for a caffeine hit. Expecting to stand outside with a paper cup, we were surprised to be shown down a side alley into a delightful yard, complete with bike racks. We were made to feel genuinely welcome and the delightful staff couldn’t do enough for us. It’s just a shame we didn’t have time to stay longer and sample the delicious looking treats. Not to worry, as with coffee and a welcome as good as this we will return every time we are on this route.

We visited today with our dog. We sat outside which was very nice. Our toasties were very good and the coffee was excellent. The cakes looked excellent.

So this morning found ourselves having to wait in bardney for a recovery vehicle and decided to search out a coffee. What a lovely treat to find this place- great coffee and toastie with exceptionally friendly service We will definitely return

Recommended by Louise the local pet food suppliers. Very dog friendly and all staff very amenable. Had a nice decking area to the rear of the community cafe {a little sun trap!!! . Had coffee, hot chocolate and toasted tea cakes. Could not fault the drinks and food. Why not give this place a try if you are visiting the area? As this is a community cafe you need to check the opening times.
