Crown Carvery - West Lothian

The service at this restaurant was very slow. The cauliflower was only half cooked. My daughter ordered the large carvery but only received three pieces of gammon. She also ordered chips, but they came out after she had finished her meal. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

I would have gave it a 10/10 if I could the food is great good menu choices friendly staff and very welcoming and good drinks and desserts

If you enjoy waiting for a long time to be seated, to order your food, and to queue for your food, then this restaurant is for you. Despite booking a table in advance, we were kept waiting at the door for approximately 10 minutes before being seated. The bar person avoided eye contact and no apology was offered when someone finally came to seat us. We then had to wait again to order our food at the bar. To make matters worse, my friend's pizza arrived well before I even made it through the carvery queue. The vegetables were dry and seemed to have been sitting out for quite some time. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this restaurant.

Staff miserable the roast beef was dry Yorkshire puddings cold veg brick hard and tasteless roast potatoes the same I only wanted gammon I got 1 slice and the shavings off the board can remember when this place was great but definitely won’t be back

. So disorganised, stood for 15mins just waiting to have my meal at the carvery. Staff were too busy making up meals for delivery. Food was palatable, but they really need to employ more staff. This happened the last time we were there too, earlier in the day. Waited almost 10mins for someone to book us in. Seem to be short staffed every time we visit.
